OUR STORY


Welcome to the Fay Muy family! Fay Muy Crystals is a one-woman show and that's me, Lauren!


Fay Muy Crystals is dedicated to my late therapy bulldog, Fay Muy (Fat Girl in Cantonese). She came into my life when I was at a very low point of my life; I was severely depressed and had a difficult time completing daily tasks. Fay Muy was the one who helped me heal.


Unfortunately, things don't last forever; Fay Muy passed away once I was able to stand on my feet again. This led me to believe that she was a guardian angel sent from above. Even now, whenever I'm sad or down, I would randomly meet a bulldog, as if Fay Muy was sending me love and telling me it will be okay from above.


My love for crystals started when she left, almost as if she passed down the healing to crystals. Trust me, I used to be skeptical of these Earthly gems, too. Just like how Fay Muy offered me love and healing, I want to offer the same to you through crystals.


Thank you so much for taking the time out to check us out. It is truly appreciated and never taken for granted.

Our Journey

Our journey has been amazing from all of the love and support.

There is nothing small about this small business; from the love to passion, from the tears and sweat - we are a community.

STARTED FROM THE BOTTOM

Fay Muy Crystals started in beginning of June 2020, in the midst of a global pandemic. It took hours upon hours discovering reliable and ethical vendors, figuring out branding and aesthetic, and finding suitable supplies.


On the right, the photo shows 4 packages - these were my first packages ever being sent. I still remember who ordered what! It was such an exciting feeling. The whole packaging thing was so new to me that I went to FedEx to buy larger boxes for a package that was 1/4 of the size.


From the beginning, my journey was filled with so much love. And it only got bigger.

NOW WE HERE

So much has changed at Fay Muy Crystals - more and more people began joining our Live Sales and FM family. More statement pieces being sourced, more trips to the Post Office, and more love to go around.

I first started my crystals page as a passion project; simply showcasing my collection from  other small businesses. Gradually, it became a small business of my own - just like the ones I adored.

Every piece in my shop (and collection) is so loved - if you've ever supported my biz, just know that you are holding a piece of me and Fay Muy. I never expected my page to grow so quickly, let alone with such an amazing, resilient community to back me up. Words cannot describe how grateful I am.

Not only did Fay Muy leave me with crystal healing, she gifted me the best supporters. Thank you for becoming my Fay Muys.
